114704^The snow train take skiiers away to a winter wonderland. All the scenes in the movie were shot by employees of the New Haven Railroad. Narrated by Lowell Thomas Film is only part 1 of 2 1) The film opens to a quiet Sunday morning in New York. 2) Skiers arrive at Grand Central Station and look at snow reports to decide where to go skiing. 3) The skiers then purchase their tickets to ride to the slopes upon the snow trains. 4) On board the train you can buy supplies at the ski store, a women buys a new hat and others rent skis. 5) After a long shot of the train, some white males get on board and put away their ski equipment. 6) A couple get their skis ready for the afternoon of fun, while a Japanese man examines his ski poles. 7) Beautiful ladscape covered in snow can be seen from the train, while eating in the dining room. 8) The train pulls into the station and everyone gets off and go directly to the slopes. 9) Some people go to the beginning slopes and even there they fall. 10) Young children just enjoy playing in the snow. 11) Time for beginning ski lessons, but first you need to stretch out with the instructor, then it's time to practice. 12) At the snack bar people eat lunch, get their gear ready or as is shown put charcoal under each other eyes to protect them from the snow. 13) People grab onto tow lines to be pulled up the mountain, a close-up of the wheels attached to the motor is shown. 14) Some people are shown going downhill and others do tricks on their skis including jumping and doing crosses.
