pallet 44- 20690 - Ken Murray Show on CBS, circa 1950 to 1953.^^Dupont Safety stock -- kind of dark, dupey looking^^Show dedicated to the Hollywood Bowl, which almost went out of business--Who knew?^^Begins with musical number, a la Carol Burnett Show, with "Ken Murray" dancers and singers doing a medley re: the Hollywood Bowl, includes solo dancer in top hat and tails, song "Steppin' Out with my Baby."^^Shot of MARIO LANZA singing "Pagliacci" at Hollywood Bowl.^^Hollywood Bowl recreated on Ken Murray soundstage; guests are Robert Maxwell performing Malaguena on his harp, Rafael Mendez performing Chipanecas on his trumpet, Beatrize Bregman-Pich (a five-year-old child prodigy at the piano) performing the minute waltz, all accompanied by (part of) the Hollywood Bowl orchestra. Murray also does a comic bit of conducting.^^Last guest: JEANETTE MACDONALD sings a medley -- Sweethearts, She Didn't Say Yes, The Night was meant for Love, etc. About 4 to 5 minutes; classic MacDonald, wearing 3/4 length evening gown, chiffon wrap, heart bracelet dangling from wrist. ^^Segment ends before Murray can interview MacDonald.^
