Pallet 43: 60 secs.^^One in a series of Sealtest's "blatant lie" series (see Sealtest Ice ^Milk Lite n' Lively commercial).^^Scenario: We watch boy eat various ice cream novelties -- ice cream^sandwich, bars, cones while narrator intones: Worried about your kids^not eating well? Give them Sealtest Ice Cream sandwiches (or bars or^cones) -- they have as much nutrition as a glass of milk.^^Yeah, right... ^^Shot of ice cream bar equaling a glass of milk. But it's a trick:^narrator notes "ounce for ounce, as nutritious as milk" which means kids would have to eat four to six ice cream bars to equal one glass, along with all the extra calories, sugar and fat.^^Keywords: [Food misconceptions.
